When global materials technology and recycling group Umicore asked The Oval Office to cook up an event to launch their future strategy (Umicore 2030 – RISE) we gladly obliged.
Our goal: to set up and orchestrate a one-day-digital event from Brussels and London that would reach and connect employees, from China to Brazil. If we could stream the event in 7 languages and divide it over 3 different time slots? Sure. Event design right up our alley. The live event reached and engaged more than 6000 Umicore employees.
We connected quantity to quality: employees had the opportunity to ask questions live on the spot. This Q&A-moment with Umicore’s staff added a personal touch to the eventful day.
The live experience was part of an overall internal communication journey including pre- and post-event touchpoints maximising the engagement and interaction before and after.
