This is us…

We are The People, an enthusiastic team of Brand Ambassadors and Hosts/Hostesses, active in The Netherlands and Belgium. We make people experience brands. We are the face of well-known brands such as Nintendo, Jupiler, Jura coffeemakers, BMW, Google, Tesla and Thuisbezorgd.nl, and tell the story of a product or service. Always professional and personal, with a smile on our faces. Together we create unforgettable brand experiences.

The People is part of The Oval Office, a creative communication agency based in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Brussels and Paris.

A driven People Manager who keeps going until everything is just right. An energetic personality who sees a challenge in building good relationships with our Promotors, Hosts and Hostesses. You are flexible and can quickly switch between tasks. You can handle ad hoc situations and changes.

A Monday might look like this: you check your email for ‘urgent matters’ before calling all team members to find out how the weekend’s activations went. You check the submitted hours and overtime, and collect all debriefings. In the afternoon you call a few clients to follow up on earlier quotations. Then you check the staffing rota for the coming period, ensuring 100% cover and a qualitative team for every activation. You personally inform all team members about the activities they will be carrying out and deliver a clear written briefing. You think 10 steps ahead so every project goes off without a hitch. Each workday is equally diverse and different.

 

This is what we expect from you…

  • You enjoy working with people, you are approachable and have strong communication skills;
  • You have a strong sense of duty, you are structured, can set priorities and are solution-oriented;
  • Working with (potential) clients gives you energy and satisfaction, and you enjoy working together with them to decide how our brand ambassadors can best deliver which activations;
  • You like to work hard, but like to have a laugh and enjoy a good time;
  • Experience as a Promotor, Brand Ambassador, Host or Planner is a plus;
  • You speak fluent Dutch and some English;
  • You don’t mind being available before and after office hours and on the weekend.
