Celebrating 200 years of Positive Banking

Hey The Oval Office, BNP Paribas Fortis here. We are turning 200 and would like to celebrate this special anniversary. Can you help us? Oh, we would like to throw a party for more than 14,000 employees. And we would like to include our 3 million customers as well. Toodles!

Are you for real? They certainly were, but give us a challenge and we’ll sink our teeth in it. We put our heads together, racked our brains and ended up with a campaign that focused on 'connecting' different audiences with the brand and the world of Positive Banking. 

Since event design is one of our strengths, we organised a few very fun events and activities. We invited all aspiring turntablists to a 'Positive DJ Contest' in the BNP Paribas Fortis offices, had a column of 'bikers' ('Positive Bikers Peloton') cruising the streets in five cities and got more than 9,000 employees dancing simultaneously across five locations. 

But a 'bicentennial' deserves more splendour. Perhaps an exclusive party for 1,500 top clients and stakeholders? We organised it at a stunning location: BNP Paribas Fortis' new headquarters, where we treated the invitees to an immersive tour through the bank's rich history via a giant mapping projection on the façade. Successful party? Yes indeed. It will be the talk of the town for the next 200 years.
