What do you do as a Strategist at The Oval Office?
As a Strategist at The Oval Office, you are at the heart of our experience-driven communication projects for clients such as Randstad, Google and bol.com. Various client requests and challenges pass your analytical desk. You understand the dynamics of the companies we work for and the industry in which they operate. You are a critical thinker and always ask yourself, the client and your colleagues the question; 'why’ and 'how'. Together with the Strategy Lead and Project Manager you will guide new briefings from clients, and work together to translate these briefings into compact, focussed and understandable debriefs.
An important aspect of working as a Strategist is generating insights that lead to distinctive and effective creative ideas. You look empathically at target groups and have an affinity for doing research. You will dive into our insights tools, analyze research reports and conduct surveys and interviews in order to get inside the head and heart of the target group.
You develop communication, campaign and event strategies (ranging from B2C to B2B and B2E) that contribute to our clients' business and communication goals. You love creating focus and structure and work independently on various projects on content frameworks, and (digital) campaign plans. As a Strategist you are able, under the guidance of the Strategy Lead, to ultimately deliver a complete proposal with a solid flow and present it convincingly to the client.
